It managed to slip ahead of Green Ronin, and a silver-winning Paizo product to grab the top spot.
2018 ENnie Awards - Gold - Best Cartography
For those who don’t know how the ENnies award system works, you submit your products individually to the 6 judges. This year there were 512 submissions (including podcast and website categories). The judges decide if your product should be one of five nominations in the various categories. The Midderlands – An OSR Setting & Bestiary was deemed to be top 5 by the judges for its cartography! Then, there are 10 days of fan voting. I believe there are some other factors here, but the product with the most votes achieves the awards. As you can see from that, the chances of getting a Gold award are pretty rare, and it relies on fans to vote and support it in the final stages!
But WE did it!
When I say WE, I mean YOU – yes, you there.
If it wasn’t for the backers of these Kickstarter campaigns, there would be no ‘The Midderlands – An OSR Setting & Bestiary’ to submit.
If it wasn’t for Edwin Nagy, Mark Nolan, Jim Magnusson, Juan Ochoa, Matthew Pook, and Peter Day, there would have been no book to submit. If it wasn’t for all the supporters and the people that went out of their way to vote, there would be no award.

As of the end of today, ALL rewards (physical and digital) will have been shipped. The exception is 5 surveys not yet completed.
I will issue physical reward shipping tracking numbers later today, and also hope to issue Leechfield Lord Art licenses later too (apologies for short delay on those).
ENNIES 2018
In my last update I mentioned about the amazing news that The Midderlands had received a nomination for Best Cartography at the ENnie Awards 2018. Voting opens tomorrow, and it would mean a HUGE amount for me to receive your vote.
Please also consider supporting other old-school creators in the various categories. Many of us are small, independent traders and freelancers trying to make ends meet, and receiving awards like this really helps us to carry on doing what we are doing by increasing awareness and ultimately sales. It's a honour for us to be up there with some of the best names in the hobby.
In closing, I just want to say a massive thank you for your support and trust, and I hope to bring more great products to Kickstarter in the coming months and years. I feel privileged to be able to do things like this, and long may it continue.
And... to the team of stars that helped make this a reality -- Edwin, Mark, Jim, Josefin, Juan, Steve, Pete, Matthew, Matt, Randy & Gavin -- you're the best!

If you completed your survey (a while back now), then I have just issued The Midderlands Expanded PDF, The Haven Isles map + Mood Art artwork, and Gloomium Randomiser die-drop artwork, as well as the bonus The Midderlands - Rivers & Lakes supplement.
If you don't get the email in the next few hours, just log in to your DriveThru or RPGNow account and you should see it in your Notifications area.
That should complete all digital reward delivery, with the exception of Artwork Licenses for Leechfield Lord pledge levels. I will sort that around Wednesday this week.
